Peter Buckley Hill And Some Comedians XIII

Peter Buckley Hill/PBH's Free Fringe

Attending this show on a Wednesday is a somewhat confusing experience, as Peter Buckley Hill has a weekly day off from his own show. Presumably he is busy in his capacity as organiser of the Free Fringe, but there was no disappointment on my part as the charming Australian comedian Yianni Agisilaou was a great stand-in. The 'Some Comedians' were an international bunch, including hobo-esque Irishman Robbie Bonham, cheeky Aussie John Robertson, token Brit Richard Sandling (from Kiosk of Champions) and New Yorker Carolyn Castiglia, who was the funniest female comedian I've seen at the Fringe. Unlike other Free Fringe comedy showcases, the acts were all professional and highly entertaining, making the show a brilliant and bargainous night out.
