Forgotten Things
Red Ladder Theatre Company
Nothing is forgotten after viewing this fantastically dark production. The acting is lavishly larger than life without becoming clichéd or overly angsty, ringing true for anyone who has ever been a teenager: adults never listen. The set is exceptional, practically becoming another character itself with hidden surprises galore. Particularly impressive puppetry is hilarious and the overall power of the piece is so strong you can't help but be moved. From black and white twister to a Gran's advice to always "have a shave if you go down on a girl", this is an unconventional tale about the difference between unconditional love and unconditional like. So release your inner goth, and get mixed up in the brilliant chaos on stage.
