children's shows review
Comedy Club 4 Kids
Neapolitan Theatre
It's just like a normal comedy club: a packed room of excitable punters, spotlit comedians, and a bar which serves... orange juice. Now returning for its fourth year in Edinburgh, the London-based Comedy Club gives kids the chance to experience entertainers who normally perform for an adult audience. The resulting success was evident from the laughs and shrieks of excitement which, I might add, did not emanate exclusively from the children. All three guest comedians put on a great show, but special mention should be given to the MC, Tiernan Douieb, who never failed to raise a storm of giggles between acts, and to Elis James whose hilarious, loveable anecdotes had several of the parents needing to go pee-pee.
