Kunst Ist Scheisse
The Caravan of Love
Kunst Ist Scheisse (which means 'Art Is Shit', translation-fans!) is anything but. It uses a burlesque cabaret show as a vehicle for comedy, including something for (almost) everyone… as the girls say themselves, "high-art, low-art, and everything in between"; the reverse striptease – performed in a bored and disaffected manner – is one particular highlight. It's not going to appeal to everyone, as, unsurprisingly, it includes some bawdy humour, and there is a small amount of audience participation required. If the thought of three scantily-clad, generously-proportioned lovelies cavorting before, amongst, and at one-point on top of the audience offends you, you should probably give it a miss. But if you're a bit more relaxed, and you want a varied comedy show that is genuinely good fun, you can't do better than this.
