Major General Euan Louden on the biggest show in town - the Edinburgh Military Tattoo

You may not realise it, but the Edinburgh Military Tattoo is by far the biggest show at the Edinburgh Festival, with 9000 people a night making their way to the Castle for Edinburgh's big display of military bands from around the world. 18,000 on Saturdays. A sell out every year, the Tattoo is a major operation. Just as well they have a Major General in charge then. We spoke to Major General Euan Louden about the success, organisation and the tradition of this rather special part of the Edinburgh Festival.
