QQ: Cardiff University's Act One

The people behind Act One's production of Jim Cartwright's 'Two' answer the Quick Quiz

1. What is your 2008 show all about?
It's about a pub, set in a pub, which is a pub.

2. Why should we come and see it?
Because its a pub... and its free

3. If your show was an Olympic sport, what would it be and why?
It would be the pole vault, because although all drama should aim to set the bar high in terms of standards, any drama fan knows that the fun is in watching some poor aspiring participant topple the bar in the hope of gaining fame and hopefully breaking their spindly artistic legs on the way down. That's what happens in our show.

4. What are you most looking forward to about this year's Festival?
The little whiskey shop on the Royal Mile. If that's not part of the festival then write back to us because we're not coming.

5. What are you least looking forward to about this year's Festival?
The effects of the little whiskey shop.

6. What advice would you have for someone trying to navigate the Fringe?
Ask the guy who dresses up as Braveheart by the castle - he knows Scotland like the back of his hand, and if all else fails, you get a photo with him and a large sword.

7. What advice would you have for someone trying to survive the Fringe?
Take a parachute. You never know.

8. Describe your show in three words
See For Yourself
