Comedian Elis James answers the ThreeWeeks Quick Quiz

1. What is your 2008 show all about?
The Boer War and the rise of the concentration camp, 1899-1902, the horror of school swimming lessons, and I might write a bit about sweets in the 1980s, you know, just to keep it light.

2. Why should we come and see it?
Because my mental health depends on positive recognition from strangers. And with four comics on the bill, we provide excellent value for money. We're reassuringly suitable for the credit crunch.

3. If your show was an Olympic sport, what would it be and why?
One of those demonstration sports, like the roller hockey at Barcelona '92. You've never heard of it before, but after five minutes the people taking part are your heroes. Wow. That is literally the most arrogant thing I have ever written.

4. What are you most looking forward to about this year's Festival?
Having clean sheets on my bed during week one.

5. What are you least looking forward to about this year's Festival?
The state of my sheets during week four.

6. What advice would you have for someone trying to navigate the Fringe?
I find it difficult driving from Cardiff to Swansea, so I really am the wrong person to ask about this. How about 'only ask advice from someone in a high-vis jacket'

7. What advice would you have for someone trying to survive the Fringe?
There's nothing wrong with bursting into tears in public. And people who sleep in their clothes because they're drunk are cool, and are the natural leaders of men.

8. Describe your show in three words
'A sexy rumpus.' Yeah!
